This is the story of the medieval park at East Worldham from its creation by the Venuz family until after it becomes farm land in the late 1600s. At the end of the reign of King Edward III, he acquired the park and enlarged it. He also had a building complex created on the so-called ‘King John’s Hill’. The stories about the effigy in East Worldham Church and Lode Farm are also considered.
